In agricultural news, the organic vegetable market in Singapore increases in size and popularity. A number of supermarkets as well as organic wholesalers have reported growth in sales of 20% to over 50% since 2008. Available vegetable varieties also expanded by at least 30%. Additional cost savings and new organic veggies are expected in the near future. Kudos, Singapore, for this exciting trend. May the planet-saving organic vegan lifestyle prevail in every corner of the world.
